Titan have chartered many river cruise vessels for individual sailings with great success, so we are delighted to offer the superb MS Serenade 1 exclusively to our clients for the whole of 2017, with all the comforts that create the perfect experience for Titan travellers.

Step aboard and you will instantly feel at ease. With just 68 cabins, it is small enough to find your way around the vessel quickly and enjoy the exclusivity of small ship cruising, while having plenty of space to enjoy. The classically decorated cabins on board the MS Serenade 1 offer more space than many other river cruise vessels – they have more storage options than many, bathrooms are big enough to boast both a compact bath (full size in suites) and a walk in shower, and all cabins on the upper and middle decks have French balconies, giving floor to ceiling views of the scenery and your own space to enjoy a quiet coffee in the sunshine while we cruise alongside beautiful river banks and pretty towns. Cabins on the Beethoven Deck have windows which are larger than similar cabins on many other vessels, stretching along most of the cabin wall, just above the waterline. In addition, all beds can be made as twins or doubles, ensuring you can have the set-up of your choice.

The delicious cuisine reflects the British taste and regional delicacies, with food sourced locally wherever possible, and with wines and beers produced in the local towns and vineyards, served complimentarily with lunch and dinner, as well as a selection of soft drinks. The flow of food produced in the ship’s kitchen is almost continuous. A buffet is laid out for you when you arrive – a welcome sight at the end of your journey, but keep in mind that you have the Captain’s gala dinner to look forward to this evening – your welcome cocktail is followed by a six-course feast! Lunches and non-gala dinners consist of four delectable courses, but if this is not enough, a midnight snack is available each night in the lounge! And our experienced head chef is happy to adapt his tantalising menu to cater for most dietary requirements – please check with our reservations team to ensure your needs can be met.

Chartering a vessel for this duration has allowed us the freedom to tailor our own itineraries. With years of experience selling river cruises, and the invaluable knowledge of local experts, we have worked together to create fantastic itineraries which embellish favourite routes with excursions designed to immerse you in the culture and traditions of the places you visit. Each cruise itinerary has must-do excursions included, plus a selection of trips which can be booked before you travel or with your Titan tour manager. And docking in the centre of many of the fantastic towns and cities that we visit means it is easy to stroll from the MS Serenade 1 to some of Europe’s great attractions.

    Sun Deck

While you’re not busy exploring wonderful destinations, the large sundeck is an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by, or the panoramic bar is a charming place to enjoy a book, meet fellow travellers for a game of cards and enjoy the evening’s entertainment, which varies from a gentle piano recital to local folk bands.

Browse our website for more information on the 15 itineraries we are offering from March 2017. From its maiden Titan voyage in The Netherlands, on which you can enjoy the magnificent views of the famous tulips in spring, MS Serenade 1 is embarking on a series of adventures through 11 countries, gliding through serene and breathtaking scenery to intriguing destinations.

Dear Robert, thank you for your enquiry. There is no strict dress code aboard the MS Serenade 1, however guests tend to dress in lounge suits and cocktail dresses for the Welcome Gala Dinner and the Captains Farewell Dinner. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you should require any further information regarding this. Best Regards, Sophie
